Unleashing the Sixth Seal: Shaking the evils in the world Rev. 6:14 -17
“And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood; and the stars of the heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig tree casteth her unripe figs when she is shaken of a great wind. And the heaven was removed as a scroll when it is rolled up; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.” Revelation 6:12-14 ASV
The book of Revelation is vital to the early church, it foreshadows the love and the wrath of the Lamb as the great Avenger of the faithful. God will shake the very foundations of the earth. A chain of violent events in the oceans and mountains that literally reap the landscape open. Creating massive sink holes, drying up lakes, changing the course of rivers, devastating cities, tearing apart great modern infrastructures, triggering volcanic eruptions, all over the world that would release toxic gas and dust in the air that would blacken the sun and change the appearance of the moon there will be tsunamis tidal waves and earthquakes .
In Biblical perspective “Gen. 1:1 multiple heavens and 1 earth Hebrews 4:14 and 2Corinthians2:12”, our immediate atmosphere is the 1 heavens , the space in all its vastness as far as the Hubble telescope can see will be considered the 2nd heavens and the 3rd heavens become the dwelling place of God beyond the containment of time and space though God is not limited to this 3rd heavens 1Kings8:27. In the Bible, stars are usually refer to angelic beings both godly and fallen. Rev. 1:20 Isaiah 14 Rev. 12:4 when Jesus Christ ascended after His resurrection He cut off satan’s access to the 3rd heaven. Satan authority is confined to the 1st and 2nd heavens. When the 6TH SEAL was opened the Lamb releases a catastrophic natural disasters this judgement wrath shakes the spirit realms to the point that the stars representing the fallen angels and the principalities of the powers which enthroned over the earth and the nations were shaken from their high places of power.
In the temptations of Jesus He was brought to a very high place of mountain to see all the kingdoms of the world. This mountain is beyond the veil that separates our world to the spirit world a demonic vantage point which allows them to see anywhere in the world. When the 6th seal is poured out it shakes not just the earth but this demonic spirits from their high places of authority Ephesians 6:12 . The sky being rolled up as scroll by a divine power of God. Isaiah 34:4 Just how God rolls the sky back and made the heaven visible it absolutely going to happen every single person on earth will going to look up and see the face of God seated on the throne and the Lamb who was slain for the sins of the world holding the great scroll. Great terror strike the earth and everyone from the great to small from the wealthy to the poor will understand by the expression of God’s face exactly were this wrath and judgment coming from in fear they will attempt to hide from the face of God but they won’t find anywhere to hide their money their power their influence won’t save them rocks and mountains could not hide them from the wrath of the Lamb .
The Seven Trumpet Judgements: Revelation 8:6 -11:15-19.
The unleashing of the seven Trumpets is in a setting where the first half of the 7seven years of Great Tribulation is occurring. The seven judgements: the 7 seals, the 7 Trumpets and the 7 Bowls. The Biblical pattern is the first four judgements of each are focus on what they do to the earth while the last 3 are most cosmically oriented and metaphysical in their nature. Romans 1:28 . Righteous judgement of God. People will get angry knowing Their sin will bring forth some form of judgment from God. As the angels blow their trumpets it’s sounds will be heard all over the world so that there’s no single person left with any form of doubt as to the nature of what’s taking place. As the FIRST TRUMPET begins to sound the whole world caught off guard and as the trumpet finishes suddenly in the sky a huge dark storm clouds form in instantaneous manner the wind begins to blow there were thunders it is a massive storm filled with fire and hail erupt.
Joel 2: 30 “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of Jehovah cometh. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of Jehovah shall be delivered; for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those that escape, as Jehovah hath said, and among the remnant those whom Jehovah doth call.”
Identical with the seven plagues in Egypt that we see in Exodus chapter 9. Global storm with huge fire which cause 1/3 of the world trees, plants and grasses is burned up. The FIRST ANGEL sounded then Hail and fire mingled in blood and they were thrown through the earth. This is not a sort of natural disaster but a divine outpouring of wrath that tells the world because you have rejected the mercy and grace shed for you by the blood of Jesus Christ that all you have left in that hour is judgement.
Rev.8:8-9 a mountain burning with fire. The SECOND TRUMPET is more localized as it specifically targets the Mediterranean Sea and its surrounding nations killing a third of its sea life and destroying a third of its ships which cause devastating impact to food supplies the economy and the political stability of the entire region which the antichrist claims as his own. The THIRD ANGEL sounded THE TRUMPET, we are at the mid point of tribulation the antichrist has already set up his temple and declares himself as god . Revelation 8:10-11. The third trumpet brings a plague on fresh waters. The judgement is directed to idolatry in-spite of the worldwide revival taking place countless people all over the world still rejected God and worshipping the antichrist. Jeremiah 9:13-15. Feed them with “star name is” wormwoods and bitter water supply. Rev.6:13. A meteor showers, the stars of the sky fell the earth . A great star fell from heaven and stars of the sky fill the earth. Wormwood is powerful angelic principality that is enthroned in very high place in heavenly realms. Has larger demonic territory connected to all forms of idolatry on this world. Principalities are highest form of demonic fallen angelic rules. This spirit of wormwood is connected with all forms of demonic idolatry. (Rev. 9 ) greatness has been stripped from him and cast down from his high place wormwood is a “who” not a “what”. God rip him up from his demonic stronghold in heavens and cast him to earth in judgement. His arrival poisoned a third of the world’s water supply and countless people all over the world died. Angel of idolatry “wormwood” was cast down to earth.
The FOURTH ANGEL SOUNDED THE TRUMPET. Only God can turned off one third of the sun. Make up of the moon and the stars completely disappear and cause absolute darkness not even natural light of whatsoever for a third of a day which cause tremendous confusions around the world. All these affect the earth temperature and the oceans tides . Those who are practicing any forms of occults and paganism which dominate the spiritual landscape during the tribulation are absolutely full of fear when all these things take place because third of a thing a third of a star which they look to for an answers are gone. Jesus has said in Luke 21 :25 signs in the sun moon etc. Rev. 8:13 the fourth trumpets end with Woe! It’s going to be worst .
As the 5TH TRUMPET sounds the bottomless pit was opened and abaddon is released and a hoard of demons locusts hybrid type creatures ascend. From the bottomless pit to torment the world for 5 months. The 6TH TRUMPET sounds, the four fallen angels who were bound in deep waters are released to prepare an army of 2hundred million horsemen and through their war a third of the remaining population on earth end up dying. This interlude between the 6th trumpet and to the 7th trumpet judgement which cover the entire second half of the tribulation. During this interlude the antichrist declare himself as god and completed the “mark of the beast” his demonic reign . The 7th trumpet is the start of Christ’s 1000 year reign. It is the time believers get the answer to their prayers: Matthew 6:10 “let your kingdom come Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
We’re not in the tribulations yet we are living right now in the window of time where God is reaching out to you and this entire world with goodness and mercy. 2Corinthians 6:1 God is not angry with you and not in fury with this world because Jesus Christ took the punishments on the Cross and all who calls on the name of Jesus will be saved. 1Thess.5:9 but a day is coming when this window of grace will be closed and it will be too late for you. Do not harden your heart to the grace and mercy of God that is offered to us in Jesus Christ . Even in judgment as the wrath of the Lamb been granted, God is still looking for an opportunity to show mercy to anyone who would call to His name. Today is the day of salvation as the end times great Avenger’s loving arms of Jesus Christ is still open for you!
