By In life, most of the people are into things which are pleasing, desirable, and enjoyable. A thought that achieving their dreams and aspirations are what life all about. When brought into circumstances that shattered everything they tend to just give in to depression and sorrows. Why all these things are happening? Will you just surrender to a complete desolation?
Now a days, a lot of things made up of your miseries. It will bring you to a point of despondency. Causing your spirit to break down because of loss of hope and courage. Haven’t you wonder why you easily give up? Why you you tend to see greatly the huge problems instead of seeing the ways the Lord will provides? What caused your desolation?
Desolation is a state of complete emptiness and destruction. An anguish of misery and loneliness. In the middle of this covid 19 pandemic, this behavior would trigger and threaten those who are into self glory consumed individuals. An attitude of a spoiled brat will suffer when the surrounding is unable to sustain the wants in life. Being accustomed to extravagant living will cause distress to both the provider and the receiver. Blessed are those who are just living by their daily means and put their trust in God, for they will really be sustained when hardships strike. There is more to life than wealth and lavish life styles.
Desolation goes with despondency. A low in spirit caused by loss of hope and courage. It is lifeless covered with despair and sadness state of mind and heart. This is the reality the pandemic covid 19 has brought to mankind. The culprit in this world aimed so much in the destruction by all means on what anyone can grasp to hold and continue on living.
On what things would you choose to stick on your life? Aren’t you blinded still with what’s happening around? Would you just succumb and give up this wretched life to evil control? Sometimes when one day you have all you’ve desired in life you’re just content to care not the obvious bad things occurring around. You even distant yourself to others who you think is not agreeing with your ideas. Alienating someone who goes against your will and positions. This tendency of man is giving a selfish attention only but when put in a desolate they demand others for care.
It’s very true then, that in this last days man becomes lovers of themselves, unmindful and easily swayed by lies. Timothy 3:1-4 “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. ” Your present condition speaks of what you are and how you take it. Don’t turn to what this world would offer you, for it has so much of deception. The evils in this world are causing your faith and focus to drift away from Jesus. Turn to the One who truly is for your own complete wellness and worthiness.
Where does hope comes from? It starts from your acceptance, cleansing and evolvement. All these three focus to Jesus, the hope and peace giver. Acceptance of the things you can’t change. Those undesirable and unwanted limbo of your life. Acceptance means facing it with complete knowledge and conviction. Acceptance of the defective; ruin world goes also with taking oneself as sinful; in depravity before God. Once acknowledge you’ve sin, then let confession takes place in you. Allow Jesus’ blood to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. When there is repentance there is hope. Evolvement happens when a a Godly life was inspired and lead by God’s words through the Holy Spirit. When there’s growth and development in your relationship with the Lord, you already anchored the hope of life on Him.
Focus your eyes, mind and heart to Jesus; to His love, good works and words. Hope comes after saying yes to a relationship with Jesus. Hope is your connection to the ultimate life giver. There’s no enough hope for one with a faulty shaken faith and partakes to what this evil world has offered. A heart cleansed and filled with His love has so much hope for a brighter future. Jesus is the only answer for the world today.
Psalms 31:24 ” Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”
