By The clock turns 5:30 am, you stretch out, jump from the bed, take a sip of coffee and a handful of cookies on the way out. Yes, you’re taking your schedule a 1 hour jog around the vicinity. Saying hello to same faces you’ve meet on this routine exercise while enjoying the scenery. Ooops! What? Stop! You’re not allowed to go out! A sudden halt! Why?
In the ever loved creation story, it’s very clear that man freely roomed around and enjoyed the beautiful garden of Eden. ” And Jehovah God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.” Genesis 2:15.
Man can exercise plainly his volition all along. Due to the Almighty Creator’s great love, he created man and given him the freedom. Though this freedom might brought chaos to the man, but God’s love covers His dearly loved creation enough not to make him a puppet. Yet as it was, it did happened when God has only one prohibition in which man failed to obey. “And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Genesis 2:16-17. God given freedom was compromised and brought sin to human race.
God’s love never stop there. He knows that humanity is hooked to the slavery of sin and death. This evil, deceiver and liar who infiltrated the blood line of human race enslaved and have dominion over him and destroyed the freedom he has. And God sent Christ Jesus to save humanity from the bondage of the enemy. “For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1.
Yet the enemy is more powerful than the mere man. And keeps on subduing him by using “the knowledge” remember the forbidden tree of good and evil. Knowledge is powerful and evil in nature. The world now a days is like in the time when the evil deceived Eve by taking the forbidden fruit. Using the very nature that man desires most, his mind and heart.
“The choice of mankind lies between freedom and happiness and for the great bulk of mankind, happiness is better.”( George Orwell). In this turmoil, when people feel happy they will tolerate anything; they will cling to the happy side even when told it brings destruction. This weakness made the enemy powerful in its use of the technology, wealth, glamour, medicine and the politics. This technologies know everything about you and controlled your whole being. Not a single individual now a days has no access to an internet. It tickles deep within you once your eyes and your hands controls the clicking. It brings self gratification. Happy people are going to be less vigilant once hooked, it altered their reasons, and changed the values formed in them. This beast of “social disease” actually bondage you.
The enemy never stop there, the deceiver keeps on figuring out how to fully reign in the media technology (social media). Spewing disinformation, misinformation and stimulation as the seedbed of treasonous, overwhelmed and fear injecting news. Those in power de-platformed free speech, marked and tracked innocent citizens. When fear is so much to man, he obeys anyone and everything even in exchange of his freedom.
Now a days, man is in great deal of achieving happiness to live . Fully surrender to the will of the land because of satisfying oneself and fear of dying. If only God created man without a choice then this deceiver has no chance of subduing him in the garden of Eden through the woman (Eve). Haven’t you wonder why God allowed man to to exercise free will to choose when it caused his destruction? Yes, because He loves him so much enough not to make him an android or a puppet. The freedom was freely given to him and to exercise man’s love to God by obedient acts. But now freedom was compromised. Remember God has given man that personal choice (freedom) in order to display man’s love to Him by being a good steward of his own body. Will you let the deceiver keep you in bondage by fear, self gratification and made you like an android (human without say and choice)?
” For ye brethren, were called for freedom; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another.” Galatians 5:13
The freedom God freely gives was also manifested and completed by Jesus Christ. “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.” Romans 8:2-3.
Nothing of any laws of this land that pertains to the flesh which bring forth death can overpower the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. You are not subject to the law of the enemy, Jesus’ blood had freed you from the bondage of sin. Would you take your freedom freely and responsively exercise with love as you obey the Lord’s good will in your life? You are freed to love. Take in mind God is a jealous God, give Him your whole love and devotion. Enjoy your freedom as responsible human being. MRcEV
