How To Be Happy, When You Have Nothing?

The world has so much to offer to anyone. Things and people are there to offer ways to enjoy your days. But always it is not for free, nothing is entirely free in this world. Could you go on with this kind of thing?  What if  complete bankruptcy  envelopes you? Total loss, disaster and exhaustion that lead to have nothing at all.  Could this ruin your life?  Could this take your happiness away from you?

What do you have that control your happiness? You might have the money, that could satisfy your needs and wants. You might be surrounded by prominent people that boost your ego  and honor. A desirable job and luxuries in life. Are all these control your life? These things control your happiness in your own perspective. Your happiness should not be dependent to any solid things.  Happiness must be within you, imparted by a Greater One inside you.  Don’t be deceive in this world… “Matthew 4:9….All these things will I give thee, if thou will fall down and worship me.” That verse tells  of how the things in this world was used to tempt Jesus.  With His example you too can flee away from the temporary happiness this world has to offer. Just make it sure to have Jesus in your heart when you have nothing  or else it will be a disaster to you.

Would you give up everything for Jesus?  Are you willing to give up these things that control your happiness?  You can have these things but they should not be the reason why you’re alive and happy or else you will miss the very thing  of eternal happiness. Philippians 4:12 ” I know both how to have nothing and how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.”   A wise man knows how to face life with full and empty hands for His happiness does not defend on how much he holds in his hands.  Like Paul  learn to have nothing. These things will pass away from you. You came empty to the world and you will leave nothing as well. Acceptance of having nothing to rely on in this world prepares your heart to a real happiness. Acceptance to your current situation and contentment to what you already have.  For when you have nothing the Lord has more to do in your life.

To have nothing to defend  on this world is to allow your faith to be active.  The more you will consider these things as just nothing the more you will be bless. Mark 8:36 “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”  Jesus is more than enough. When you feel you are in need and have nothing, renew your love and commitment to Him. Your current relationship with Jesus affects your living situation. The real joy is not in the things in this world, don’t put your heart on them. Consider yourself to have nothing in possession to this world, Jesus is your greatest happiness. Learn to have nothing for Him to do more in your life……..MRCE
