The GOODNESS of GOD: How Can You Not See His Goodness?

In life, people live differently with each other but all been given the same. There are  less fortunate and the well off individuals. Whatever reasons behind their status in life, still all experience the gift of life. The  goodness of the great Creator  never misses anyone.  It’s very clear around us and very obvious to ignore.  How can you not see His goodness?

What made you refuse to see it?  No one can appreciate something if the heart is lacking of good things. If your life is full of negatives, sorrow, mischief, confusions and chaos, what you see will also be the same. These will make you miss seeing the good thing life could offer.  There are things out of your control: why settle for less when He has offered you the best things in life? What control and  prevent you from recognizing his goodness? Romans 2:4 “…or despise thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and long-suffering; not knowing that the  goodness of God leads you to repentance.”  When sin covers your heart, it controls your reasons and even your vision.   It would be easy then for one to despise the riches of His goodness, because sin made you to refuse seeing God’s goodness. Sin, your sorrow, your adversity and unfortunate events in your life blinded you to see the greatness of God. But the continued and  everlasting goodness of the lord leads everyone to repentance.  Accept  and repent for Him to open the eyes of your heart.

Why it can’t be hidden?  The Creator had perfectly created the universe . You are beautifully and wonderfully made. Your life is the mirror of  the goodness of His creation. Your outside bad circumstances and experiences are nothing compared to what the Lord has imparted in you. It can’t destroy and change your value to Him. Psalms 33:5 “… the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.”  Everything around you display the marvelous works, which should not be marred by your inward condition. The nature display the creative hands of the Master. The different animals that you bother not to feed prove His caring hands. Remember, when it’s good you cannot hide, but whenever it’s defiled it is very visible.

Why so silent in praising Him?  Rev. 5:12 “In a loud voice they were saying: ‘worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise.’ ”  Don’t silent your heart if you are grateful, for  His goodness to keep flowing in you.  For if you will not, a lot of His creations will do.  Worship Him and give glory to His name!  Life and everything around you are so beautiful and wonderful.             (MRCE)
